Argentine Pass: Built in the 1860's, originaly named Sanderson Pass. It existed as a toll road for over a decade.
-1870's, name was changed to Snake River Pass, had
regularly schedualed stage coach runs over the pass.
-The name of the pass was changed again when the
east Argentine mining district came.
-The Summit, at 13,132 ft is the highest pass crossing
the divid(Mosquito Pass is higher, but is not a Divide Crossing Pass)

Argentine Pass is located just outside Georgetown off the Guanella Pass road.
